Yesterday the puppy and I went for a walk on the tow path. He stopped to look at cormorants floating in the water, mystified by their long necks. "Are they birds?" I could see him wonder.
We went close to investigate a flock of geese, and they honked and he got very scared and ran away.
He stops and investigates everything, and loves to make friends with everyone who stops to admire how totally cute he is.
To see the world through the eyes of a new puppy - it is simply magical.
