Yesterday I went downtown to scope out Strange Grounds Coffee on Broadway, where I will have a table at a craft fair.
Oh la la. I had the best breakfast ever, sausage and egg with grilled onions, sour cream, and avocado! Low carb, too.
and the coffee . . . just magnificent.
I now have a new special spot for journaling out in the world, and plan on making this a frequent outing.
Working in your journal in a creative atmosphere is really a treat, give yourself an early holiday gift and try it!

Oh, I am so jealous :) This is reminiscent of both a Starbucks I used to go to, and a little coffee shop/eatery next to the prestigious hotel where my husband used to work in San Fransisco. I wish I could remember the name of the place... I loved it there.
ReplyDeleteLast week I had some extra time, so I took my pen and journal to a Starbucks in order to sit for a bit and sketch, but this one was not set up for that, AND the only music they had going was Christmas music. Not the vibe I was going for. I took my coffee to go.
